PADI IDC Testimonial by Anthony

Here we are with the PADI IDC Testimonial by Anthony. First of all, it looks like this will be the last testimonial for the February PADI IDC.  Secondly, the PADI IDC programs on Malapascua I teach in conjunction with PADI 5* IDDR Resort ‘Thresher Cove Resort’, Just in case that isn’t clear! Thirdly, more testimonials from the November IDC are bound to follow!

Certainly it is interesting to see Anthony’s confidence levels grow throughout this IDC program. At times his nervousness seems to be his biggest enemy! He did overcome this though. Superbly, actually, and managed to pass both the IDC program and the PADI IE with flying colors.

Above all, it’s interesting to see where his instructor career allowed him to work. Greece, Cambodia and currently Thailand are his stomping grounds.

On the other hand, it looks like I just will miss him and Karen when I start the next PADI IDC on Koh Lanta in January 2020. Very unfortunate indeed. I am looking forward seeing you again. One day, this will work out!

Let’s get on with it and see what Anthony’s testimonial is about. It’s in French and here we go;

Merci beaucoup Anthony. Much appreciated, as always, that you take the time out to write this testimonial.

Now, if this motivates you to change your life and become a PADI Instructor, we can accommodate that. Right here on Malapascau, at Thresher Cove Resort. Check out our PADI IDC schedule here.

First of all, we kick off the new year on 6th February. Secondly, this is followed by a PADI IDC program that starts 23rd March.

Most certainly I’m looking forward seeing you there. In conclusion, contact me for me detailed information. See you soon!

PADI IE December 2019 on Malapascua very successful

Today we have the PADI IE December 2019 on Malapascua very successful! All the five candidates from the 2019 November PADI IDC passed with flying colors! The PADI IDC I teach in conjunction with PADI 5* IDDR Resort ‘Thresher Cove Resort’ right here on Malapascua.

Certainly two nerve wrecking days for the candidates. Due to Typhoon Kammuri the examiners arrived just an hour before the start of the PADI IE. However, once the IE got under way, it was all good from there on. Firstly they passed the exams with high scores. Secondly, on the same day, they all passed their classroom presentation.

Most importantly, they passed both wet parts of this PADI IE. Fist of all confined water in the morning. Secondly the open water dive in the afternoon.

The relief and joy of the moment were great! Most certainly all stress and anxiety disappeared as snow for the sun. It’s early evening now on Malapascua and they are celebrating! Not too much though, tomorrow we still have deep dives to conduct at Monad shoal. After that, the real party will start tomorrow evening.

Now it’s time to relax. However, there’s no time for the wicked. As the old saying goes. If you want to change your life, just like our five current candidates, you can! We have six PADI IDC programs scheduled in 2020.

Firstly, the first IDC for us in 2020 starts 6th February. Secondly, this is followed by an IDC program starting 23rd March. Check our PADI IDC schedule here.

See you there!

That’s it, the PADI IDC November 2019 and EFRI courses on Malapascua are completed. Both courses in conjunction with PADI 5* IDDR Resort ‘Thresher Cove Resort’. Furthermore, Justin also completed his PADI IDC Staff Instructor course. Ann staffed this PADI IDC.

First of all we had lots of fun along the way. Secondly, the five candidates went through a steep learning curve. On the other hand, besides the fun there were also some ups and downs. It’s all part of the package though. Most importantly, they are all ready to tackle the PADI IE come 4th and 5th December.

Above all, time flew by. That happens when you have fun.  Certainly we had action packed days. However, there was plenty of time to prepare each evening for the next day. The staff presentations. The candidate classroom-, confined water- and open water presentations. The workshops. The exams. The lunches. The jokes. The smiles.  We all shared it together. Learned from it and are now ready to spill these beans to the PADI examiner.

Today we finished the EFR Instructor course as well. Most certainly, more fun was had. These five candidates are very creative when it comes down to finding poses for the mannequins.
