Terms & Conditions
This page is about our terms & conditions. Please have a look, so that we’re all on the same page;
- Firstly, we require deposits on your professional PADI courses. All deposits and payments are nonrefundable. Your deposits are also non transferable. They are only valid for you at our dive center. However, we do understand that your circumstances can change. Maybe you can’t start or complete a course. Don’t worry, we are flexible about your start and completion date. However, do let us know about your change of plans. In return, you can delay the start or completion date of your course as much as you need. It’s very similar to any training facility or university. Hence, your deposits are not refundable. However, once you commit to our courses, we will be there to help you complete your courses. You will see how committed we are.
- Secondly, we do not accept split payments. Before the start of your first course with us, we expect you to pay the balance in full. To clarify, that’s the full balance of all of your course fees. Add to this the required PADI materials obtained through us. All PADI application fees are to be paid directly to PADI by credit card.
- Thirdly, all our courses start at your convenience. From Open water Diver to the PADI Divemaster course. Start any day you like. The only exception is our PADI IDC schedule. Each of our PADI IDC programs have a fixed start date. This is because our IDC programs are linked to the fixed PADI IE programs.
Terms & Conditions
- Your training schedule is very flexible. When friends or relatives visit you, and you want to spend time with them. No problem. Alternatively, you like to spend Christmas at home. Or any other other event you like to spend with your beloved ones. Again, no problem. However, whatever your plans are, communicate with us and keep us in the loop. That allows us to be flexible as well. Let us know once you’re back and ready to continue. We will schedule you in again. No probs. We will try to accommodate you as much as we can. Just talk to us!
- We do not offer free training in return for work. This is actually illegal in the Philippines.
Terms & Conditions
- For all you professional courses, you need a medical statement. However, if in general you are in good health and you’re reasonably fit, there should be no problem taking up diving. The medical statement needs to confirm/state that you are fit to dive. It also needs to be dated within the past year and signed by a physician. This needs to cover the date of the PADI IE. You cannot do this at location on Malapascua. Unfortunately, there’s no doctor on the island. You will need to get a medical form, before you get to Malapascua. You can do this either in your home country, in Cebu City or anywhere else. Without a valid medical on day one of the IDC, you can not join any in-water activities. At least not until you produce a valid medical.
You can use a copy of your medical used during the DM course. However, only if no changes in your medical status occurred. - For all professional courses you need to be at least 18 years or older. To start the PADI IDC, you will need to be certified at beginners level for at least 6 months. You also need proof of 60 logged dives at the start of the IDC. Before the start of the PADI IE you will need proof of 100 logged dives. During the IDC you will be able to log at least 3 dives.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions regarding this.
